TLDR: Aussie couple moves to Seattle, loves the national parks and work opportunities, but struggles with tipping, social issues, high prices, and missing home. It's been a mixed bag, but an adventure!
TLDR: Three friends hiked Yosemite for four days. They climbed El Capitan, swam in Yosemite Falls, and attempted to summit Half Dome. The trip took a dangerous turn when one friend became severely dehydrated, requiring a rescue. Despite the ordeal, they experienced incredible views and unforgettable memories.
It's been on the goal list for 2+ years now - becoming an Expat and work in the United States - I can proudly say that the dream is now a reality.
