TLDR: Three friends hiked Yosemite for four days. They climbed El Capitan, swam in Yosemite Falls, and attempted to summit Half Dome. The trip took a dangerous turn when one friend became severely dehydrated, requiring a rescue. Despite the ordeal, they experienced incredible views and unforgettable memories.
It's been on the goal list for 2+ years now - becoming an Expat and work in the United States - I can proudly say that the dream is now a reality.

Not only home to the the 2nd bombing in WW2 in 1945 but well before this another dark past at Unzen Jigoku. The site of Christian martyrdom, a dark period during the Edo Period when Christianity was banned. Practitioners were tortured and killed in the boiling hot waters.
